As a family business providing repairs, maintenance and services for both cars and motorbikes since 2012 we pride ourselves on being able to provide a top class service to our customers.

You will find we are a friendly, local garage who are dedicated to getting you get back on the road with minimum hassle. Unlike some of the larger garage chains and main dealerships we can provide a high quality personalised service at a fair and sensible price. You know yourself some the larger chain garages make you feel like you are just a part of their long assembly line and a bit of an inconvenience as well if you ask for something that is not part of their regular booking system.

Did you know that we are able to carry out your services even if your car or motorbike is still under the manufacturer's warranty? We can, it is the law of the land! As a professionally qualified and trained mechanic using approved parts and oils etc we FULLY comply with the terms of the warranty. That means you save your money whenever you book in with Croft Autotech.

Yes we can do the Interim Service, the Full Service and the Major Service for virtually all makes of cars and motorbikes. A major service for example on one car needs to be done every 24,000 miles or at least 2 years whichever is the shorter on another car it could be 36,000 miles. The major car service would usually include all the requirements of the normal full service but with an extra 71 additional checks as well.

What's more by bringing your vehicle to us for its maintenance service on a regular basis we can build a specialised personalised car service history. That fact alone is enabling us to recognise potential problems well before they arise. That way problems can be dealt with before the breakdown that would otherwise leave you at the roadside waiting for a breakdown truck to arrive.

Electronic Diagnostic Tests

We have also invested heavily into some of the top of the range electronic diagnostic tools available along with the specialised training to get the best out of them. Using these engine diagnostic tools to their max enables us to save potentially hours of time trying to track down those minor tricky faults that stop your car engine from running perfectly. Of course that fine engine tuning is giving you back maximum efficiency and fuel economy on every journey. Our diagnostic test tools and constantly updated software covers 31 different manufacturers and hundreds of models.

One of the tools is the now internationally famous VAG-COM diagnostic which was designed for the Volkswagen group vehicles now includes both their Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles, but has since expanded to include Audi, SEAT, and Skoda cars. This tool is the very top of the range diagnostic for any of the these cars.

Your car service and MOT test.

We do not carry out any car MOT testing but that is to your advantage. We will be seen as independent qualified experts by the person carrying out the test. Yes, most MOT testers are honest but there are some who will fail outright border line cases in order to get the repair work for themselves.

We will perform the necessary service and pre-check for you before taking the car to a local MOT centre for you.

There are also a number of jobs that other car service garages are not able to carry out for you. This could be because they don't have the right equipment or sufficient skills in that area. For example:
